The Graduate School has created a special resource for students to help them identify financial support for graduate students. Below is a quick synopsis of the types of aid available to graduate students. It should be noted that, as a rule, financial aid is limited for graduate certificate and master's level students. For US Citizens, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine need-based support. The Office of Financial Aid can provide additional information on opportunities for aid.
Health Informatics and Analytics and the larger Data Science Initiative (DSI) have a limited number of Graduate Assistantships funded directly through the program. Admitted and matriculated students can apply for those assistantships here.
Students enrolled in the Health Informatics and Analytics program may also apply for funding for professional conference travel. Funding requests are reviewed by the Data Science Student Organization.
The Graduate and Professional Student Government also provides support for student travel.
